Fence Planters How Can I Keep Rodents Out Of My Patio Garden?

How can I keep rodents out of my patio garden? - fence planters

I live on the third floor of an apartment building and a little bit me cucurbits. I have tried spraying them with pepper, but eat only the plants and dig the roots.
